Day 2 Workshop - Advanced Reconstruction & Repair

from $500.00

Ready to Elevate Your Loc Repair & Reconstruction Skills?

Welcome to Day 2 of the MatchMyHands Workshop Experience — where we’re going beyond basic loc repair and learning how to assess, rebuild, reconstruct and restore even the most challenging loc situations.

Join me November 7th in the Maryland / D.C. area for an intimate, hands-on Advanced Loc Reconstruction Workshop Experience created for locticians who are ready to strengthen their problem-solving skills and become more confident taking on advanced loc services.

I’m bringing the techniques, thought process, problem-solving and real-world experience I use behind the chair directly to YOU.

Because reconstruction isn’t just about knowing how to use a crochet needle.

You have to know WHAT to do, WHY you’re doing it and when NOT to do it.

And we’re getting into ALL of it.

What We’re Getting Into:

Advanced Loc Repairs & Reconstruction
Learn how to assess thinning, breakage, weak areas, damaged locs and more complex cases while determining the best approach to rebuild the integrity of the hair.

Loc Reattachments
Learn techniques for properly reattaching locs while creating a secure, natural-looking transition between the client’s existing hair and the loc.

Part & Foundation Reconstruction
Sometimes the loc isn’t the only problem. Learn how I assess compromised foundations, incorrect loc-to-part ratios, merged sections and damaged parting systems to determine what can realistically be reconstructed.

Loc Extensions & FLOW Technique
Learn how to create and seamlessly install loc extensions of different sizes, including my approach to FLOW — creating the loc as you go for a more efficient and natural-looking installation.

Straight Hair Loc Extensions
Learn how to approach loc extensions on straighter hair textures, including creating secure foundations and seamlessly building the extension as you work.

Live Model Training
You’ll see these techniques applied to a real client with real loc concerns and get hands-on experience applying what you’ve learned.

Real-World Assessment & Problem Solving
Before you touch the crochet needle, you need a PLAN. We’ll discuss how to assess a client’s hair, identify the actual problem, determine what can be repaired or reconstructed and create a realistic plan of action.

Who Is This Experience For?

This workshop is for locticians who want to become more confident handling advanced repairs, extensions, reattachments and reconstruction services.

Whether you’re already performing repairs and want to refine your technique, you’ve been hesitant to accept more complicated cases, or you’re ready to expand into higher-level specialty services — this experience is for you.

I don’t want you leaving this workshop simply knowing another crochet technique.

I want you to be able to look at a difficult head of locs and start thinking:

“Okay. I see the problem. Now I know what to do.”

Ask questions. Let me watch your hands. Make mistakes. Correct them. Try again.

That’s why seating is intentionally limited.

You aren’t coming just to watch me reconstruct.

You’re learning how to think like a reconstruction specialist. 🙌🏾

Welcome to Day 2 of the MatchMyHands Workshop Experience.
